The New York Times bestselling author, Brendon Burchard is the founder of High Performance Academy. After his New York Times and USA Today bestselling book The Millionaire Messenger, Brendon comes up with his another motivational and inspirational book The Charge. After surviving a car accident and getting a second chance to receive life's golden ticket, he put his whole effort in discovering the life's best drives which can make you feel more alive and charged in this very book “The Charge”. This amazing motivational book is the outcome of the author's own life. That very night of accident, Brendon Burchard, standing on the threshold of death, asked himself “Did I live? Did I love? Did I matter?” Since then he deeply realized the facts about mortality and promised himself to live a fully charged life, and to help others to live their lives in the same way. He’s helped millions of people around the globe in transforming their lives to make them feel more alive, engaged, and fulfilled. Every word or every page of The Charge conveys the message how deeply Brandon had made research on the subject matter.

Despite having what we need, people don't feel satisfied, excited, or engaged at that level they deserve. So, to activate your life, Brendon has portrayed 10 human drives in this book, showing how to use these drives, and explaining with real-life examples. The best thing that captured by this book from the very beginning is that the way Brendon uses the powerful words like caged, comfortable, and charged. Brendon had beautifully defined these terms in his book that you will start visualizing what kind of life you are leading, whether it's a caged, comfortable, or the charged one.

As I finished reading Brendon's book, I pondered which area of my life is less charged or which among the 10 drives I have to focus and improve to live a fully charged life. More focused on personal development and how to bring out the best of you, this book is weaved completely in a different style which invites you to read more and more to get the deeper meaning of life.

Also, I love the way Brendon engaged his readers with questions in each end of the chapter, identifying different areas of life that demands changes and what actually he or she can make some meaningful change in the future. I am influenced by this book as a reader and would like to suggest others to read this magnificent motivational book about life to know how to live a fully charged life.
